The ore beneficiation plant is a process that improves the ore grade of useful minerals. It based on the physical and chemical properties of different minerals in the ore, to obtain the raw materials required for smelting or other industries.
Firstly, the ore is crushed by a crusher and ground by a ball mill (150-200 mesh). After the ore particles have reached a certain fineness, and then according to the material to choose different beneficiation methods. 1. Magnetic separator process
Principle: according to the magnetic difference of various ores or materials to beneficiation under the action of magnetic force and other forces.
Applied materials: it is suitable for wet magnetic separation of magnetite, pyrrhotite, ilmenite and other materials with particle size under 3mm. It can also be used for iron removal of coal, nonmetallic ore, building materials , and other industries.
2. Flotation separation process
Principle: according to the differences in the chemical properties of the mineral surface (hydrophilic, flowability), the flotation agent is used to selectively attach useful minerals or useless impurities to the bubbles for the purpose of separation. This method is called chemical beneficiation.
Applied materials: it is mainly used to select metal minerals such as gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, nickel and aluminum. It can also be used for the selection of ferrous and non-metallic (such as graphite, apatite).
3. Gravity separation process
Principle: according to the relative density of the mineral (usually called specific gravity) for the purpose of separation.
Applied materials: it is mainly used for the separation of gold, silver, lead and zinc, tantalum, niobium, tin, and other rare and precious metals minerals. Common equipment has a spiral chute, shaker, etc.
