Introduction of Magnetic Separator

Magnetic separator is suitable for wet magnetic separation of magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasting ore, ilmenite and other materials with a particle size of 3mm or less. It is also used for iron removal of coal, non-metallic minerals, building materials and other materials. The magnetic system of the magnetic separator is made of high-quality ferrite material or composited with rare earth magnet steel. The average magnetic induction intensity of the cylinder table is 100-600 mT. According to user needs, it can provide magnetic separation of many different surface strengths such as downstream, semi-reverse flow and counterflow. Our company's magnetic separation equipment has the advantages of simple structure, large processing capacity, convenient operation and easy maintenance.

Magnetic separation equipment application field

1. The rough selection of lean iron ore after coarse or medium crushing, to exclude waste rock such as surrounding rock, improve the grade and reduce the load of the next process.

2. For the hematite reduction closed-circuit roasting operation, the raw ore that has not been fully reduced will be sorted and returned to re-burn.

3. Used in the ceramic industry to remove the mixed iron in the porcelain mud and improve the quality of the ceramic products.

4. Iron removal operations for coal mines, foundry sands, refractory materials and other industries.

Magnetic separator working principle

After the slurry is fed into the tank by the feeding tank, the ore is loosely fed into the feeding area of the tank under the action of the water flow to the mine spout. In the action of the magnetic field, the magnetic ore particles are magnetically aggregated to form a magnet or magnetic flux . The magnet or magnetic flux is magnetically applied to the magnetic pole, moves toward the magnetic pole, and is adsorbed on the cylinder. . Since the polarities of the magnetic poles are alternately arranged in the direction of rotation of the cylinder, and are fixed during operation, the magnet or magnetic flux is magnetically agitated due to the alternating magnetic poles when being rotated with the cylinder, and is mixed. The non-magnetic minerals such as gangue in the magnet or magnetic flux fall off during the flipping, and the magnet or magnetic lotus that is finally attracted to the surface of the cylinder is the concentrate. The concentrate passes to the weakest point of the magnetic system at the edge of the magnetic system, and is discharged into the concentrate tank under the action of the flushing water jet discharged from the unloading water pipe. If it is a full magnetic magnetic roller, the unloading is performed by a brush roller. Non-magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals are left in the slurry with the slurry exiting the trough, which is the tailings.
