Introduction to talc
Talc is a common silicate mineral and it is very soft. The Moh’s hardness is 1 and talc can replace chopsticks. The shape of talc is various, generally in briquette, leave, fiber, or ray, etc. The color is often in white or off white. The talc is mainly used as the basic refractory and flux for blast-furnace iron-making as well as for making calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer. Also, it can be used as an accessory for making glass and ceramic.
Talc has wide application ranges like refractory material, paper making, rubber fillings, insulating material, lubricant, pesticide absorber, leather coatings, cosmetic material, and carving material, etc. It is an important ceramic material, mainly used for decreasing temperature and improving the roughness of glaze. Machines used in the grinding plant include jaw crusher, bucket elevator, high-pressure grinding mill, electro-vibrating feeder, and powder concentrator, etc.
Raymond mill of Fote brand is of remarkable advantages for processing talc material. Its maintenance work is simple and the discharging specification can totally meet demands.
