Wood Chip Dryer is the key economical drying equipment for drying and dewarting wood chips. Wood chip dryer is for wood shavings, wood chips, wood sawdust and other materials.
The moisture inside the wood chips mainly are free water and biological water. Free water is easier to be dewatered, and biological water is difficult to be got rid of. Thus the reasonable inner structurer of the wood chip dryer is necessary so that the wood chip dryer can have better work performance and capacity.
FTM®Wood Chip Dryer can dry the wood chips from moisture 40-50% to moisture about 10% or even lower which is suitable for storage and burning for boiler, or according to the clients' requirements.
Inquire DetailsThe wood is sent to the hopper by a belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then enters the feeding end through the feeding pipe through the feeding machine of the hopper. The material is added from the higher end, and the heating medium enters from the lower end, and is in countercurrent contact with the material. When the wet material moves forward in the cylinder, it directly or indirectly receives heat from the heating medium, so that the wet material can be dried, and then sent out through a belt or screw conveyor at the discharge end. In addition, dust collectors can also be used to reduce dust in the drying system.
The heat source used in the dryer is mainly the combustion products for various combustion products,
such as LPG, HFO, natural gas, coal, electric energy, etc. At the same time, the selection of the
heat source of the dryer also affects the operating cost. Therefore, when selecting the heat source
of the dryer, it is necessary for customers to follow the local conditions, the safety of the heat
source, environmental protection, the quality requirements of the materials .
