Sand Dryer Maintenance Matters

1. Notes

The maintenance of the machine is a very important work, it should be in close cooperation with the daily operation and overhaul, and should have full-time personnel on duty for inspection.

1.1 When the dryer is transported to your production site by the manufacturer, you should first carry out a routine inspection of the dryer to check whether it is the type of machinery you purchased and whether it is damaged or unable to be used during the delivery.

1.2 Determine the installation location of the dryer. The transportation channel, turnover of raw materials, inlet water, inlet steam and sewage pipes should be considered when you select installation location of the dryer.

1.3 The dryer belongs to one of the drying equipment with large volume and heavy weight, so the machine should be installed on a solid foundation, and at the same time, it should be kept horizontal, so as to prevent large vibration during the operation of the equipment due to uneven foundation, which will affect the drying efficiency and the service life of the dryer.

2. Installation and commissioning

2.1 The equipment shall be installed on a horizontal concrete foundation and fixed with anchor bolts.

2.2 Pay attention to the vertical of main body and horizontal during installation.

2.3 After installation, check whether the bolts in each part are loose and whether the main engine barn door is fastened.

2.4 Configure the power cord and control switch according to the power of the equipment.

2.5 After inspection, empty load test shall be carried out, and production can be carried out after normal test.

3. Bearing maintenance

Bearing bears all the load of the machine, so good lubrication has a great relationship on the bearing life. It directly affects the service life of the machine and the rate of operation, so the lubricating oil must be clean, and seal must be good.

3.1 The newly installed tire is prone to looseness and must be checked frequently.

3.2 Pay attention to the normal operation of all parts of the machine.

3.3 Pay attention to check the wear degree of easily worn parts, and pay attention to replace the worn parts at any time.

3.4 If the temperature of bearing oil rises high, stop immediately to check and eliminate the cause.

3.5 If there is any impact sound during the operation of the rotating gear, stop immediately to check and eliminate it.
